Mary May
-- Basketball at Wichita State University has a huge fan base. But none are quite as vocal as Mary May. If you’ve ever attended a WSU game---I’ll bet you’ve seen her. We went, we watched---two games actually, one on the court, and the one off.

Grover Beaman
-- In Wichita’s Old Town district has become a place where artists enjoy honing their craft. One man who admits he’s left over from the ‘60’s, has become an Old Town favorite. Grover Beaman takes his talent to the streets to preserve part of Wichita’s history in art.

Constantin & Evdochia Gheorghiu
-- I cover a lot of people, but seldom do I meet those people whose simple lives touch me so much. Constantin & Evdochia Gheorghiu came from a country far away for new lives here in the U.S. They don’t have a lot, and yet they have everything. This story was shot one year around Christmas. You’ll understand why the timing seemed so appropriate.

Joe Hampton
-- There are those people whose brush with history made our lives today possible. But time is a fragile thing and for many World War II Veterans time is passing far too quickly. Wichita is a favorite spot for reunions, especially those involving airplanes. At one Wichita World War II reunion, I met Wichitan Joe Hampton who helped put perspective on the war and on life.

Sandy Butler
-- Wichita is fast becoming multi-cultural in our heritage and that’s good. From each culture we learn something about ourselves. So I did with one of Wichita’s entrepreneurs Sandy Butler. Not afraid of work and a smile that makes you want to return again and again.

Sister Janice Friess
-- There are those stories which just jump out at you, begging to be told. Such a story surrounded Wichitan nun Sister Janice Friess. A friend told me a story about her. When I heard it, I knew we had to have it on video. This quiet woman of God believes in miracles and it is no wonder.

Priscilla Brown
-- My guess is, you’ve eaten her food somewhere at some time. Her name is Priscilla Brown and this long time Wichita chef has been teaching younger ones the art of cooking for a long time. But Priscilla is also good at something else. The art of living a good life and the art of producing a close family.

Roberta Holdren
-- Big town or little town, it’s fun to meet those people who for one reason or another create community memories. Would any small town be the same without a little coffee shop? In Jewell, Kansas, Roberta Holdren operated the local coffee shop for a time. It was there the town solved its problems.

Marian Gault
-- In her Mission Hills home in Kansas City, Marion Gault just couldn’t get enough of nature. Her love of creatures big and small turned into a ‘living room’ passion. It was caterpillars, though, that were Marion’s favorite. It wasn’t what you expected inside a fashionable Mission Hills home.
